 Several of my clients have been asking for packages so I have spent
a ton of time researching , I even went to a seminar that was
heavily attended by other colleges from our area.

The Bottom line… comparable businesses start their individual print prices three to five times higher than ours. This allows them to create a huge “savings” in a package.

The dilemma… Our individual print prices are still a bigger savings than their largest packages. I have left no room to cut my profits for big savings in a package.

The solution… Obviously,  raising  my individual print prices would do the trick.  I realize the marketing stratagem behind packaging is strong, but for now, I have come up with an alternative to traditional packages . This alternative will allow you to receive more for your money and hopefully still enable  my business to grow. This will happen through  Incentive Packages.

Incentive Points of purchase…The bulk of my cost is not in the actual printing of your portrait, it’s in the purchase and maintenance of equipment, which is continually growing with a healthy business. The cost goes to the learning curves, the seminars and classes, and all that keeps us current and relevant. The time that is put into each piece, photographing,  choosing, editing, developing, creatively cropping and posting of each and every portfolio. The  building and maintenance of a current and growing business is tremendous. In reality close to 90 percent of my cost is invested before you even choose your selection to purchase.

 Given this knowledge you can see how, although I can’t cut my profit any further, I can afford to provide incentives.
