TOP TEN QUESTIONS
Q. How would you describe your photography style?
A. The photography style of All Things Photography is “Illustrative”. The majority of your wedding day photos will be candid shots: “True life stills” full of emotion and excitement.  Furthermore, we also blend formal portraiture into your collection. These are just as important and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how creative and fun a well composed ‘formal portrait’ will look.

Q. Who will actually be the one photographing our wedding day?
A. Amy Pheasant and Erik Pheasant are the two primary photographers. A.T.P. also has two apprentice photographers that are on hand and fill in beautifully for either Erik or Amy should the occasion arise.

Q. What type of equipment do you use?
A. We work exclusively with the latest Canon EOS professional digital equipment. Canon 5D and Canon 20D also Canon 10Ds for back up. Erik’s favorite lens is the 70-200 2.8 this is amazing for the blurred background close up shots that you won’t even know he is taking. Another one of their favorites is the 100 macro lens that allow for amazing clarity on detail shots.

Q. How many photographs do you take?
A. Because we work exclusively in digital, we don’t limit the number of shots. This gives us the freedom to shoot to our hearts’ content. Usually we take close to 1000 shots in a single day! Then we edit these images down to the best of the moment . There will always be extras to choose from when you fill your collection.

Q. Do you photograph in color or black and white?
A. All Photographs taken are in color with the option to convert to B&W or even sepia or even creatively colored in just areas. The options are endless and so much fun! Since every photograph is different we use our creative eye to bring out the best of detail in each individual shot.

Q. Who does your design for my wedding book?
A. We take so much pride in our works of art we are not willing to give up any of the work flow to any outside hands. We want complete creative and technical control from start to finish, we never hand off your photographs to anyone else. Erik does all of the graphic design work that you see with all our photographs. Every page of Your book and every “Thank You Post Card” is completely designed by Erik. There are no templates, each and every design is unique truly a one of a kind, made especially with your style in mind. We enjoy getting to know our clients and what they would appreciate.

Q. When should I book my wedding day?
A. Because we have clients booking for next year, we recommend as soon as possible. Once you have solidified your date and we have consulted either over the phone or in person and you know we are the right photographers for you, don’t wait! We want to be there for you. Only in the right circumstances do we photograph more than one wedding per week as we typically give all our energy to that day.

Q. How long will it be to see my wedding collection and receive my book?
A. With today’s technology so much of what we receive is immediate, but sometimes we forget that quicker is not always better. In this case it is the exact opposite. We refuse to hurry through any of our client’s art. In this case the phrase “good things come to those who wait” is literal. Your collection will be on line and ready for viewing between 10 and 12 weeks after your wedding date. Once you have gone through and chosen the photos for your wedding book it can take several months to receive your finished product. You will have pages to preview and input to give along the way. This heirloom is something that will be passed down for years to come. Once it is done you will be able to visually appreciate all the time and thought spent on each and every page. Your personalized book will tell your wedding day story to family and friends for years to come.

Q. What is your service motto?
A. Our service motto is to produce a quality product that will last a lifetime. It is not a service of immediate gratification. To be completely honest, if you are looking for quick service on demand, that is not us. We strive to meet all of our client’s needs in a timely fashion. However we are very flexible and we will go to every length to insure all our clients get what they deserve. If there is an immediate need we will do everything possible to meet it, short of not meeting someone else’s need. If you have a deadline or a extenuating circumstance please let us know as soon as possible. Because of this, sometimes service will be delayed, but it will always be worth waiting for! Please be gracious, you never know when your circumstance might need the extra courtesy.
Our desire is to build a relationship with our client of trust and integrity. We treat each of our clients as an investment. Our full intent is to earn your trust from the very first event that we cover for you. We feel that connecting and relating to our clients is just as important as producing a high quality product. We have followed our clients through some of their biggest moments in life and we would like to think that it’s not just because of the amazing photos but that our clients trust us as individuals. To be invited into an intimate circle of friends and family for a number of different once-in-a-lifetime experiences is amazing. But the real honor is when we are invited back for their next family occasion. There are two things in our business that propel us forward with excitement. First, to be invited to document momentous moments and second, to deliver a product that brings tears to our clients’ eyes. What an amazing opportunity!
